Moroccan-style cornish hens with orange sauce

This was a great hit at a recent Christmas dinner party. Cornish hens are excellent for entertaining because everyone feels special – they get their own bird!

Cookin’ with Cream of Mushroom: Shortcut Swedish Meatballs and Ground Meat Mixture

As someone who’s a fairly involved cook, the idea of using Cream of Mushroom Soup in a recipe tends to turn me off. But a couple of dishes just remind me of home and comfort, and there isn’t a substitute for the goopy stuff when trying to recreate them (trust me – I’ve done the meatballs with homemade mushroom soup before, and it didn’t work).

John’s Chicken Paprikash
