Pistachio and Pear Salad

I served this salad with lunch today, trying to use up a few errant ingredients.

4 slices romaine lettuce, kept whole

8 pistachios, shelled and crushed

1/2 pear, cut into tiny pieces

1/4 cup red wine vinegar

1/2 tsp honey

salt

1/2 tsp olive oil

Arrange two slices of romaine lettuce, next to each other lengthwise, on plate. Sprinkle half pistachios and half pears on each set.

Whisk together vinegar, honey and oil. Add salt to taste. Dress salad.
