Toasts with Ricotta and Jam

This is how I used half of the ricotta I made: as an easy appetizer for Becky’s New Year’s Eve party.

1 loaf country style bread, cut into pieces

1-2 cups ricotta

1 small jar jam (I used a citrus marmalade that our neighbor gave us)

Toast bread in the oven until browned. Serve bread with ricotta and jam. If you’re feeding a smaller group, you can spread the cheese and jelly on the pieces yourself for a fancier presentation.
