A basic, if a little bland, baked pasta dish.
1 cup frozen peas
10 oz uncooked shell pasta
2.5 cups skim milk
3 tbsp flour
salt and pepper
2 tsp dijon mustard
3 oz Swiss cheese, chopped
4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 tbsp Parmesan cheese
Preheat oven to 325. Spray baking sheet with cooking spray. Cook pasta according to directions (add peas the last minute). Drain and set aside.
Whisk together milk, flour, mustard, salt and pepper. Cook on medium, stirring, for 5 minutes or until thick. Whisk in cheese until smooth.
Put peas and pasta in baking dish. Pour cheese over. Top with bacon and parmesan. Bake 25 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
