WW Slow Cooker Tikka Masala

This was quite nice, if not the most authentic take on the dish I’ve ever had. I’m always looking for new slow cooker recipes.

1 28 oz can tomatoes

1 onion, minced 

1 tbsp minced garlic

1 tbsp minced ginger

2 tbsp garam masala

1 tbsp brown sugar

1/2 tsp cumin

1/2 tsp coriander

2 pounds chicken thighs

salt, to taste

1/2 cup Greek yogurt

chopped cilantro

Combine all ingredients, except yogurt and cilantro, in slow cooker. Cook on high for 3 to 4 hours or low for 6 to 8 hours. Stir in yogurt and cilantro. Yields about 1 cup chicken with sauce per serving
