My sister is much more artistic/successful in the baking department than I am, and these Halloween oreo balls she made over the weekend are no exception. The eyes look a lot cooler, but I actually preferred the taste of the cinnamon ones (I’m also not a huge chocolate person, so feel free to take that with a grain of salt).
1 package Pumpkin Oreos
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese
White chocolate and cookie decorating gel (optional)
Crush Pumpkin Oreos in a food processor (or by hand, I guess, beating them in a plastic bag). Combine with 1 package cream cheese until thoroughly mixed.
Roll into balls. Freeze for 10 minutes. Roll in cinnamon, or, if you’re ambitious like Mandy, dip in melted white chocolate. If you’re doing that, once hardened, get artistic with the decorating gel.
Chill at least an hour before serving in the refrigerator. We like them even better frozen, especially the leftovers.
