This Year’s Christmas Cookies

This was probably my most epic year of Christmas cookie baking. I’m being lazy here and linking to recipes rather than writing them all out separately, but I’m also including the recipe for Jiggety’s black bottom cupcake (a recipe I have to hunt down in my email every year without fail).


Linzer Muffins
M&M Bars
Pink Lemonade Cookies
Thyme Sea Salt Cookies
Oreo Balls
I made the basic filler recipe and then dipped some in white chocolate to be snowmen (serious pain), made some with mint cookies and dipped in crushed peppermint (festive) and just rolled some in red and green sugar (those were easiest and tasted great).
Chocolate Sablee (these were already on the site but hey)
        1 1/2 cups flour
        1 cup sugar
        1/4 cup cocoa
        1 tsp salt
        1 tsp baking soda
        1/2 cup oil
        1 Tbsp vinegar
        1 tsp vanilla
        1 cup wter
        Sift dry ingredients into medium bowl.  Make a well.  Add wet ingredients and blend with wooden spoon.  Fill cupcake tins less than half full.  Makes 24 (regular sized) cupcakes.
        1 8oz cream cheese
        1 egg
        1/2 cup sugar
        1 cup chocolate chips
        Place 1 heaping Tbsp of topping in each tin before baking.
        Bake @ 350 degrees for 17 – 20 minutes
