Asparagus with Cilantro Sauce

I saw this sauce while I was reading Men’s Health or Runner’s World or something yesterday, and since I was planning to make asparagus for dinner, it seemed like a nice way to jazz it up. It also works generally as a condiment – used it on my sandwich today and plan to serve it with Thai grilled chicken tomorrow.

1/2 cup cilantro leaves

1 egg

juice of half a lemon

2 tsp capers

1 tbsp Dijon mustard

3 tbsp olive oil

1 clove garlic

1 bunch asparagus

Combine ingredients in blender. Toss with asparagus. Grill asparagus about five minutes or until cooked. Drizzle with additional sauce.
