Green Tea Rice

I made this (out of Women’s Health) but neither John nor I were particularly excited about it. Maybe it was the recipe? Who knows.


1/2 cup cooked white rice
1 tbsp matcha powder
1 cup hot water
sprinkle of black sesame seeds
garnish of chopped scallions

Whisk together tea and water. Make a round in top of the rice and garnish with seeds and scallions. Pour tea over rice and serve.
