This simple ground pork and egg rice bowl was a big hit as part of the Japanese cooking challenge.
6-8 oz ground pork
2 cups white rice, cooked
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 tablespoon salad oil
Add the ground pork, soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of sugar to a pan and stir over medium heat a couple of minutes.
Beat the eggs and mix in the remaining 1 tablespoon of sugar in a bowl. Heat the salad oil in a frying pan. Add the egg mixture and stir-fry 1 minute.
Serve the meat and eggs as shown in the picture over the steamed rice.
