Mom’s Stroganoff

Similar to Swiss Steak, this was a favorite of mine as a kid. John really liked this version (though both of us generally like just about any version of stroganoff put in front of us).

Recipe Variation: Chicken Pesto Cauliflower Pizza

A new version of cauliflower pizza. Not really a recipe, but sautee some diced chicken thighs. When just about cooked through, stir in some pesto. Top a cauliflower pizza crust with a layer of pesto, mozzarella cheese, and the chicken and bake according to package directions. Good combo of flavors!

Swiss Steak

Another Frederick family meal! Mom didn’t really remember how she made this all that well, so I did a little improvising, but I feel like I got a close approximation. This was a big hit with John, who likes anything involving cream of mushroom.
