Pork Chops with Balsamic Onions

John really liked this Eating Well recipe. It wasn’t my kind of dish, but it was fine for something different.

Bacon Burgers

We really liked these a lot. The bacon really adds something. I made these ahead and froze them, which worked out well.

Paleo Crab Cakes

These crab cakes weren’t bad. I thought they were a little mushy in the middle, but I expect my substitutions and John needing to cook them a tad longer played a role. I had a leftover one for breakfast and enjoyed it.

Caldo Verde

I’m kinda obsessed with this soup recipe. And it keeps rather well! AND it was easy to make Whole30 friendly. Definitely plan to make again.

Magic Wings

These were really great! Nice umami hit, and the folks we had over for game day were fans as well. If I remember right, I had to cook these a little longer than the recipe said, but I can’t remember for sure.

Avgolemono

Another Soup of the World recipe! We used this recipe when we were testing rice for Whole30 reintry. It’s a pretty good, classic version.

Instant Pot Korean Short Ribs

I liked these ok but wasn’t over the moon about them (the fat content bothered my stomach, so that might have been a factor).
