My sister had been talking up this recipe. I’m not super into cooked carrots so I was a little skeptical, but we thought it was a great blend of flavors.
There’s no real recipe here, but I need to log this meal for the challenge. Spaghetti and meatballs was another family dinner, using frozen meatballs and Ragu sauce. We often served this with garlic toast made on Italian bread.
This was an oddly common Frederick Family side dish growing up. I just had some to use up an odd 1/3 cup of leftover pasta in the fridge as a snack, which made me think of it for the challenge. Barely a recipe.
This is what I did with some of the leftover chickpeas and liquid from the previous recipe.
Apparently I have a recipe for this already on the blog, but it’d had been years since I made this and I used different ratios this time, so I’m updating. Served this with basic breaded chicken legs, peas, and kraut.
