Steak Salad with Corn Tomato Relish

This was a nice, if not dramatic, salad recipe from EatingWell. Instead of using skirt steak, though, I subbed in leftover rare roast beef that I crisped up a little.

“Wild” Salad

This recipe is kind of a work in progress, but is an attempt to create a salad I used to get from a pizzeria called Pugsley’s in salad.

Muffaletta Salad

I had this in New Orleans and decided to make it when I got home. I may have played around with this recipe a bit when I made it, but it’s too long ago to remember exactly what I did.

Garlic Lime Steak and Noodle Salad

Really lovely summer recipe from Smitten Kitchen. I dressed mine up with a nasturtium from the garden. I also believe I halved the recipe.

Burger Bowl

Made this recipe and quite enjoyed it – definitely has a Big Mac quality to it. I know that I adapted it somewhat to make the calorie count lower, but I don’t remember exactly what I did – I believe I cut down the amount of bacon and avocado, though, and used less dressing. I’m writing down what I think happened, but feel free to follow the original recipe if calories aren’t an issue.

Bitter Greens Salad with “Porkitos”

John and I really liked this salad during Thanksgiving testing but thought it’d be too bitter for the rest of our crowd.

Roasted Garlic Caesar

I wanted to like this a bit more – the dressing was a little thick for me, and it wouldn’t replace a traditional Caesar recipe in my book. But glad we tried it. The walnuts are tasty.
