It’s been awhile since I made crab cakes so I decided to use a recipe. These turned out really great.

Pork and Clams

This was our main dish for our Portugese Dinner Party. It was good though not mind-blowing (the pork fell apart a bit more than I wanted).

Crab Fried Rice

I was lucky enough to have some leftover blue crab after getting crabs with my sister, and this made for a great use for it. The rice is nicely seasoned and there isn’t much in there to interfere with the crab. I garnished with some fried shallots.

Hiyasha Chuka

A dish I’ve always wanted to make – quite refreshing, even if I’m not the biggest fan of imitation crab.

Paella Mixta

This was a big hit for holiday potluck 2022! I subbed scallops for shrimp because we had expected someone with an allergy, and subbed chorizo for the pork loin because it sounded better. Also shoutout to this punch recipe we made for the gathering, too.
