Double-Plum Salad with Mozzarella

I made this up to use up some of the lovely mini plums we got in the market. I really liked the flavor combo and it turned out very pretty.

Falls into “barely a recipe” category but need to get on the record for the Frederick dinner challenge.

Broiled Monkfish with Saffron and Paprika

Salmon on a Plank

I discovered cedar planks from god knows when (my prediction? 2008 or so) when we cleaned out our basement, so I put one to use making salmon last night. Adds a nice smokiness, I will say.
